I am writing to y'all to see if you could write an article on
my father. His name is L G. Rich and he has worked on the railroad [CSX] around 26 years.
He worked in the B&B Department from Nashville to Memphis. He has served as a board
member and local chairman for eight years. In December of 1996, he had a heart attack
and underwent open-heart surgery. In December of 1997, he was put on the heart transplant
list. He has been able to stay at home until February of this year. He was admitted to the
hospital on February 1, 1999 where he is now waiting for a heart transplant.
I would like to know if y'all could put his address in the Journal?
