Gerald L. Brake is a track laborer for Norfolk Southern in Somerset, Kentucky and a member of BMWE Local Lodge 636. Brake is also the Scoutmaster of Burnside Boy Scout Troop 81. This photo shows Brake at left at Camp McKee, a boy scout camp. On behalf of the boys and committee of Troop 81, the Committee Chairperson sent in the photo to be printed in the Journal as a thank you to Brake because "without his taking a week of his vacation to spend with these boys, they wouldn't have been able to attend camp."
